The Rainbow Bridge- a poem for those who have lost a pet
The Rainbow Bridge poem has been around for years. Some say it began around the 1980-early 1990s.. The poem has become synonymous with pet parents and petl lovers who have lost a pet. To cross the bridge means the pet has passed on in this world, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge into "heaven", a better place. And one day, the pet owner will cross the bridge and reunite with their pet once again.
It has been modified into several versions, below is another version. Both versions are meant to provide comfort to pet owners during the difficult time. It provides the reader hope and comfort, that their pet is ok and all is well.
